eCommerce Manager

Heath Ceramics Ltd. is looking for an eCommerce Manager to manage the build, launch
and upkeep of a new website for Heath Ceramics. This individual will work on the new
website from start to finish, owning the functional specs, user-experience goals, as well
as the execution of such. The ability to gain a strong understanding of Heath’s business
objectives, brand and processes is critical to being successful in this position. Heath
currently has one main office and manufacturing facility, 2 remote stores and a thriving
eCommerce and gift registry business.

The eCommerce Manager reports to the company’s Marketing & Brand Lead. A strong

sense of teamwork is critical. While management and execution of Heath’s website and
related projects is the main component of the job, an understanding of eCommerce and
Internet technology and terminology are required – with gift registry experience a plus.
The eCommerce Manager has ownership of products, features, functionality and the
overall customer experience on the Heath website.

This is a newly-created position. This position will begin as a 6-month project role – with
future long-term employment considered thereafter.

About the role

We are looking for a hardworking, pro-active, results orientated Online Marketing Executive, reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager. This is an exciting role within the team and ideal for someone with 1-2 years experience in online retail marketing. The Online Marketing Executive will be an integral member of the marketing team and will help drive new and repeat customers to IsabellaOliver.com.  This is a great opportunity in a fast growing company where you can make a difference and grow with the company.

Main responsibilities include:

  • PPC – Working closely with the PPC agency on the day to day running and co-ordination of Paid Search campaigns, focusing on driving high quality traffic to the site and maximizing profitability
  • SEO – Develop and execute effective marketing activities to increase traffic driven by Natural Search and optimise for search engines
  • Affiliates – Execute and co-ordinate all affiliate and shopping feed activity
  • Media – Create and implement online and offline advertising, readership offers and partnerships
  • Conversions & upsell - Optimise current activities and explore innovative new ways to drive and convert quality traffic to IsabellaOliver.com, with a focus on increasing AOV and LTV
  • Reporting – Provide comprehensive weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs to track and evaluate success for all marketing activities
  • Email - Support the marketing team in  the planning and execution of email campaigns
  • Research - Monitor and analyse competitor activity and customer surveys
  • Ad hoc - Undertake ad hoc projects relating to marketing acquisition and retention strategies to support the marketing team

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the e-mail vendor, creative agency, marketing, ODG and site teams to deliver on revenue targets, marketing initiatives and campaigns. The manager will also engage in cross-functional relationships with regional marketing, online as well as Global ODG team to support the short and long term goals of the online business.

 

Responsibilities

·Responsible for the development, testing, execution and analysis of e-mail campaigns to drive online e-mail growth and profitability.

·Understand the strategy and campaign requirements set forth by the business to implement best practices for e-mail programs.

·Responsible for campaign metrics and analysis and presenting those metrics and findings to internal business partners and senior management.

·Manage the relationship with e-mail vendor and creative agencies.
